After the joys of Storm Arwen, we’re back focusing on Christmas and wanted to share everything we have to offer with you.
Christmas Parties
We have excellent space for big parties or groups of friends who want to get together before heading off to meet families. We can cater the party for you, from full monty turkey through to finger buffet, plus help you to find a band if dancing is on the menu too!
Christmas Dinners
While we’re not open on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, we are serving the full Christmas dinner menu at all other times if you fancy a trial run. Here’s the menu.
Christmas Drinks with Friends
The bar is fully stocked, the decorations are up, the fires are on. If you are chatting with friends about where to meet for a festive mulled wine or pint of real ale, you should look no further!
Pre-Christmas Afternoons in front of the fire with the kids
Whether it’s after school or during the school holidays, we would love to welcome you and your kids (and your dogs!) in our cosy lounge area for our pre-Christmas specials. You could treat yourself to a hot chocolate with brandy or Bailies for only £2.50 or enjoy a pot of tea with home-made mince pie with brandy butter or a yummy traybake. We also have a Cream Tea with warm home-made scones for £5.50.
If you feel like something a bit different we have on offer small bottles of Prosecco for £4.50 or a range of Real Ales.
For the children we are doing a children’s diddy ice cream of their choice for only £1.50. We have drawing pads and pencils available so they can have fun drawing while you chat, plus there will be a lucky dip for them to win something fun, for just £1.50.
And let’s not forget your pets – we always have some tasty dog teats for them so they don’t feel like they are being left out.
Christmas and New Year Opening
We are all spending time with our families on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but if you want to burst forth on Boxing Day we are open for lunch from 12pm-3pm. Here’s the winter menu. We are also open on New Year’s Day for lunch, and, whether it’s a family get together or a hangover cure, we will have something for you.
