Fresh Local, In Season Produce & Local Ales
Using fresh local produce that is in season, and produced within a few miles of the hotel, we create the very best of Northumbrian fayre for our visitors to enjoy – our hugely popular Sunday lunches for example are a testament to this.
We are passionate about producing top quality dishes, and for that, we need top quality ingredients. So wherever possible we work with small, local, independent suppliers. Quality and consistency are paramount and all suppliers listed here meet our criteria.
Dine in our elegant Cheviot Restaurant which has a relaxing atmosphere overlooking our lovely gardens, or choose to dine in the Chillingham Room which adjoins the Copper Bar where you can meet and mix with the other guests. Our bar is dog friendly.
Our sunny beer garden is a perfect spot for a drink or a casual bite to eat. We also have a small play area for the kids.
Open 12.00pm – 11.00pm.
Monday to Sunday
Lunch served 12.00pm – 2.00pm.
Evening menu from 6.00pm – 8.00pm.
Food was very good, and served with a smile even though we arrived with only a few minutes before food service finished.
Everything the staff were brill the breakfast fab the receptionist was outstanding
